Full Show Notes

The reason Deb first joined LinkedIn was during the stock market crash of 2008, soon after she was asked to talk about social media at a networking event. She just started talking about what she had been doing on LinkedIn. This led to a passion for training. She has spent years crafting her skills and now trains others on how to be LinkedIn experts.

She will be releasing a new two-hour Virtual networking with LinkedIn training on April 20th to address the issues of what’s happening in our job market due to COVID-19. To help people understand how to continue to bring business in the door during uncertain times. And the way to do that is to build your relationships online because we’re all virtual now. This has never been more relevant.

This is the time when you need to pivot. Whatever your business.

Deb shares her amazing story of becoming a race car driver with her husband. In the last race of the season, she got tagged. That accident jarred a tumor lose in her body and caused her to find her breast cancer early and beat it.

“Call it what you want, but always look at the brighter side of life, or don’t ever look straight ahead and have blinders zone. Take your blinders off and look at the big picture and go, what positive can I take from this?” – Deb

What is the key to a 30-year marriage and love story like Deb’s? She says it’s simple; marry your best friend. We also talked about a study done that found that couples with extreme height differences were happier than couples of similar heights.
