Having tried every diet and program as a self-described, “chubby kid”.

We talk about the health factor of body image. We also talk about the assessability of healthy food for many Americans. And finally, we discuss what is in alignment for you and your core values and how you come to terms with who you are, and how you choose to move.

We discuss how people disconnect from their bodies. Sarah shares that her disconnection is rooted in objectification. Others may deal with anxiety and develop issues with food because it is the one thing they can control. Trauma may be another issue. Today we talk about the ways you can reconnect with your body.

Sarah describes the phenomenon of when we look in the mirror, we may not see the same things as others in our lives like our spouses. We often don’t look through the eyes of love but focus on what we believe are our imperfections. She had to put a poster board to cover the area she was negatively focusing on so she could break the habit of only seeing the negative.
