Amy shares her own experience and tells her story about her husband, who was in an accident leading to serious brain damage. She talks about some of her own experiences with the healthcare system and the court system of North Carolina. Hear the struggles and the successes as she authentically shares her painful and inspiring story.
 Adam her husband was in a coma for 10 months and was given a 10% chance of waking up but Amy did not give upon him. Since she was a single mother still raising her daughter she has become the full-time caregiver for Adam but above that, she is his wife first. She doesn’t want people to pity her. She and Adam have an amazing relationship and an amazing life. Amy has learned the importance of letting herself live in the moment. See more about her story on WRAL.
 She talks about life before the accident and their amazing love story. And, what it is like now after the accident although Adam may not know that she is his wife, they still have an unbelievably strong connection and can communicate in ways no one else may understand.
 Quarantine has led Amy on her own journey; she recently quit her job to allow her to be focused on her priorities and what is important to her. She may not know what is coming next but she is excited to figure out what lies ahead of her.
